It helps to include your phone model and the game version, shown at the bottom of Settings.

Common questions

How do I keep my progress if I change phones?: Open Settings and sign in to Play Games. Your progress is then saved to your Google account. On the new phone, install the game and sign in with the same account, and your sanctuary comes back. If both phones already have progress, the game asks which one to keep.
I bought Remove Ads. How do I get it back after reinstalling?: Open the game while signed in to the same Google account you bought it with. Google Play restores the purchase automatically, and Settings shows “Ads removed”.
How do I start over?: Open Settings and tap Start over. Every spirit, egg, item and record is deleted and a new sanctuary begins with two starter eggs. This can't be undone, and it replaces your Play Games save too. Remove Ads is kept.
Can I turn off the sound, music or hints?: Yes. Settings has switches for sound, music and guidance.
Is it on iPhone or iPad?: Not yet. Ember Spirits is coming to Android first.
