- How does the Mystic 8 Ball work?
- Think of a yes-or-no question, then tap the ball. It spins, and an answer floats up in the triangle. Answers are picked at random from the pack you chose, so ask as often as you like.
- Is it free? Are there ads?
- This web version is free, with no ads and no sign-up. The Mystic 8 Ball app is free on iPhone, iPad and Android too.
- Can I write my own answers?
- Yes. Open Customize, type an answer and tap Add, or remove the ones you don't want. Your answers are saved in this browser.
- Can I shake my phone instead of tapping?
- On most phones, yes: tap the ball once, then shake. On iPhone, allow motion access when Safari asks. In the app, shaking works straight away.
- What answer packs are there?
- Classic, Funny, Savage and Cosmic, with 18 answers each. Pick one in Packs; it replaces your current answers.
- Can the 8 ball really predict the future?
- No. Mystic 8 Ball is purely for fun and does not give real predictions or advice.
